Windstar Cruise Line ships accomodate between 148 to 308 pampered guests. Windstar attracts a clientele between 30 to 50 years of age. They are professionals, well-educated and well-traveled. Extremely popular with couples and honeymooners. These ships visit some of the world’s most exotic and most facinating ports. Explore the Greek Islands & Turkey, the Caribbean, the ancient Mayan ruins of Belize, Monaco's famed Grand Casino, Costa Rica and the paradise of Tahiti cruises. Enjoy the water sports and small isles that mega cruise ships can't enter. Night life on board is low-key and minimal. There is a small casino offering blackjack, Caribbean stud and slots. The discriminating guests will be pleased with Windstar’s innovative signature cuisine. All served in open seating restaurants and Wind Surf’s alternative restaurant, the Bistro. Menus feature dishes created by trendy California Chef and Restaurateur Joachim Splichal. In addition to the regular menu vegetarian and light offerings are other options.

There are no elevators on the Windstar Cruise ships, the Spirit and Star, however the Wind Surf has two elevators. Staterooms are not designed for wheelchair accessibility. However, the needs of physically challenged guests are accommodated.

Windstar Cruises ships are adult-oriented and not suggested for infants and toddlers. No dedicated children’s facilities are available. If you are looking for a luxury family cruise, this is not a good choice. Windstar Cruise Line is suggested for those who are active, affluent, A-type, individualists, who are 25-65 years old.
